Thank you to everyone who joined us online for Altair’s 2021 Virtual Spring Forum Leave Nothing to Chance: Proactive Planning for Longevity. This year, to enhance the virtual format experience, we divided our normal single day event across two morning segments.
About this program:
COVID-19 has been a wake-up call about the risks and vulnerabilities associated with aging. Whether for ourselves or our parents, we all hope for a long, fulfilling life where our later years are determined by our own choices. However, very few of us take the time to formalize plans and have the deliberate conversations necessary for achieving that outcome. The result – families are left to make decisions in crisis.
In our two-day virtual program, a panel of experts introduced a new, useful framework for organizing, documenting, and completing the many tasks needed to plan for longevity. This purposeful approach not only ensures an individual’s wishes are known, it reduces the strain on loved ones from having to make difficult choices without input or support.
