Terry Badger has been a financial communicator for the past 20 years, mostly in the asset management space but also in the banking space. At Altair, he is part of the research team. His primary role is to help develop and communicate insights and viewpoints from the CIO and broader research team to clients, both directly and via Altair consultants and advisers.
Before joining Altair, Terry worked at USAA Investments, Harris Associates, and U.S. Global Investors. He holds degrees from the University of Vermont and Columbia University. He is a CFA® charterholder and has served as an adjunct professor in the finance department at the University of Illinois Chicago since 2019.
Terry is a long-time volunteer at Care for Friends, a not-for-profit program that provides meals, food aid, and health care to Chicagoans experiencing food and/or housing insecurity. He is also a judge for the Chicago Metro History Day, a history project competition among regional middle and high schools.
