Daniel J. Scherding
As a Senior Consultant, Daniel works with the managing directors and consulting team to lead the strategic planning related to investment management and financial planning services for Altair’s clients.
Daniel joined Altair as a Client Services Intern in June 2017 and became a permanent team member in September 2018. He attended Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science and played soccer. Since moving to Chicago, he has obtained a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificate and is planning to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation to better serve Altair’s clients.
Outside of Altair, Daniel serves on the Providence Englewood Charter School associate board and tutors/teaches students from elementary school through college. Originally from Woodstock, Vermont, Daniel now resides in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village neighborhood.
