Benjamin H. Kresner

As an Associate Director, Ben works with Managing Directors of the firm to provide investment, financial planning, tax and estate advice to wealthy individuals, families and foundations.

Prior to joining Altair, Ben was an Investment Consultant at Lowery Asset Consulting in Chicago. At Lowery, he provided investment and financial guidance to long-standing institutional and private wealth clients.

Ben is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Chicago. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant . Ben received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Iowa.

Outside of Altair, Ben founded and co-chairs the JUF Professional Networks’ Young Finance Professionals Committee. He also serves on the Associate Board for the Cancer Wellness Center, a nonprofit whose mission is to improve the emotional and physical wellbeing of people affected by cancer.
