Lauren B. Denton
As a Senior Research Analyst, Lauren is responsible for monitoring current investment managers as well as performing quantitative and qualitative screens to identify new investment managers as part of Altair’s investment manager due diligence. She also conducts market and economic research and monitors for impact to client portfolios.
Prior to joining Altair, Lauren worked at J.P. Morgan as an Investment Analyst in the private bank where she developed custom investment strategies for high-net-worth families and individuals.
Lauren is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society Chicago. She graduated summa cum laude from Lehigh University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
Outside of Altair, she is a member of the Junior Executive Board of Chicago Youth Programs where she serves as the Fundraising and Events Committee Chair.
Lauren is originally from the northern suburbs of Chicago and now lives in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood with her husband and their dog, Howie.
