Altair Proudly Welcomes David J. Lin, Director of Investment Research
We are proud to welcome David J. Lin, CFA® as our director of investment research. In his role at Altair, David will be responsible for the direct management of Altair’s research team as well as overseeing the internal processes for investment manager due diligence and ongoing monitoring. David will be a voting member of Altair’s Investment Committee, the central decision-making body that determines and oversees asset allocation recommendations and manager selection, retention and termination decisions.
“David’s extensive experience in research, manager oversight and portfolio allocation is a great fit with our disciplined approach to constructing client portfolios,” notes Jason Laurie, Managing Director and Chair of Altair’s Investment Committee. “In particular, his focus on the needs of high-net-worth clients and families make him particularly well-suited for our business.”
David is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago. Prior to joining Altair, he was the Chief Investment Officer of the Grant Private Client Group within the private wealth management department of William Blair.
